Feathery Visit - Environments drill down

The game's starting environment sets the tone of mystery through the use of lighting and the dense forest surroundings. To guide and direct the player I used light shafts strategically.

Inside the forest, there are different objects lying around, making us wonder who lives there.

As you step into the field, the warm sun greets you, evoking feelings of hope for the player. However, in the middle of this magical, flowery setting, a burned airplane stands in stark contrast.

Capys' cabin was crafted using warm colors, and a welcoming fireplace complements Capy's friendly and awesome nature. If you observe closely, you'll find scattered clues about Capys' past in the room.

When you go into the forest at night, it transforms into a display of glowing colors. My intention was to create a magical atmosphere for the forest instead of a haunting one typical of the night.

With the assistance of Dall-E and extensive work in Photoshop, I designed 2D assets to portray the game's narrative and to provide insights into Capy's past for the player.

Creating the environment required numerous trials and errors before achieving the desired final look.
